Aspirin caffeine tablets are an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory medicine. They are used for mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches and period pains, and for inflammation. The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet per intake, up to a maximum of three tablets per day about six hours apart. The tablets should be taken with liquid, preferably after a meal. The duration of use is a maximum of four days. In case of overdose, tinnitus, hearing disorders, nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness may occur. If an overdose is suspected, a doctor should be notified immediately. The medicinal product should not be used for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Before use, contraindications such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients, gastric or duodenal disorders, asthma, cardiac insufficiency and impaired kidney or liver function should be noted. Possible side effects are gastrointestinal complaints, allergic reactions, restlessness, insomnia and accelerated pulse. The medicine should be kept away from heat and out of the reach of children.
