The Cutimed® PROTECT applicator consists of a special polymer solution that contains disiloxane and acrylate copolymer.These ingredients provide a reliable barrier on the skin.

Medical skin protection is an important component in the treatment of chronic wounds in all phases of wound healing.Good wound edge protection promotes wound healing and improves the patient's quality of life.The Cutimed® PROTECT applicator was developed to be applied specifically to wound edges and the surrounding skin.It forms a protective film that acts like a protective shield and is permeable to water vapor and oxygen at the same time.

Application and effect

The Cutimed® PROTECT applicator can be used on intact skin as well as on already irritated skin areas.It protects the skin from maceration by body fluids for up to 96 hours.Due to its alcohol- and perfume-free formulation, it is particularly gentle on the skin and is therefore also suitable for use on children.

Duration of application

The duration of use depends on the respective indication, for example when cleaning.
