Instructions for use of the article Dermatix Ultra Gel: Dermatix Ultra Gel is an external silicone gel used to prevent and reduce excessive scarring in freshly healed wounds. The gel contains siloxanes and vitamin C esters. It has a flattening, softening and smoothing effect on scars, reducing pain, itching and scar discomfort as well as scar-related redness. Dermatix Ultra is invisible, fast drying, non-greasy and can be applied to all areas of the skin, including the face and joints. It forms an invisible film on the skin and leaves the skin feeling clean and silky. The gel is ideally applied to the intact skin surface immediately after the wound has healed and should be used twice daily for at least two months. For scars that are difficult to treat, a longer treatment period may be required. Dermatix Ultra is also suitable for children. Indication: Dermatix Ultra Gel is used for the prevention and treatment of bulging scars (keloids) and excessive scarring (hypertrophic scars) that occur, for example, after surgical procedures, traumatic injuries and burns. It improves the appearance of scars, makes the skin silky and soft, reduces itching and other discomfort and makes red scars fade. The gel is very elastic and dries quickly, is odourless, transparent and can be used with make-up. It is also suitable for sensitive children's skin. Mode of action: Dermatix Ultra Gel maintains the moisture balance of the scar tissue and supports the restoration of the injured skin surface.
