Panthenol 100 mg JENAPHARM® is a vitamin preparation that is used in adolescents aged 12 and over and adults to support the treatment of inflammation of the mouth and throat mucosa and to treat pantothenic acid deficiency.These deficiencies cannot be compensated for nutritionally, such as in chronic dialysis patients or in pain and discomfort in the toes and soles of the feet caused by a pantothenic acid deficiency, known as burning feet syndrome.No prescription is required for this product.

Panthenol 100 mg JENAPHARM® contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol.Each tablet contains 100 mg of dexpanthenol.The other ingredients are sucrose, precipitated silicon dioxide, potato starch, talc, gelatin, glycerol 85%, lemon flavor, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.) and saccharin sodium.

Area of application

The medicine is used to support the treatment of inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat and to treat pantothenic acid deficiency states that cannot be corrected through diet.These include supplementation for chronic dialysis patients and the treatment of pain and discomfort in the toes and soles of the feet caused by a pantothenic acid deficiency.

Dosage

To support the treatment of inflammation of the mouth and throat mucosa, three tablets should be slowly dissolved in the mouth every day.In the case of pantothenic acid deficiency, it is recommended to take one tablet daily with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water, regardless of a meal.

Intake

To support the treatment of inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, allow the tablets to slowly dissolve in the mouth.If you have pantothenic acid deficiency, please take the tablets with enough liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water), regardless of a meal.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.
