Areas of application

The hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is used to clean wounds.It is also used as a mouth disinfectant for bad breath and for rinsing for bleeding gums and inflammation of the oral mucosa.

Dosage instructions and method of application

Before use, the solution should be diluted 5 to 10 times, about 1 to 2 tablespoons in a glass of water.Use in closed body cavities should be avoided to prevent the risk of gas embolism.

Contraindications

In the case of a very rare genetic catalase deficiency (acatalasemia), the effect of the hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is reduced.

Ingredients

Every 100 grams of the solution contains 3 grams of hydrogen peroxide and water.The solution is stabilized with phosphoric acid.

Notes

The solution should not be stored above 25°C.It can bleach textiles.It is important to keep the solution away from children and not to use it after the expiration date.
