Overview

Tannosynt® Cream is a supportive treatment for skin diseases associated with inflammation, weeping and itching.The active ingredient phenol-methanal-urea polycondensate, sulfonated, sodium salt, also known as synthetic tannin, has an astringent effect and helps to soothe the skin.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

The cream provides the skin with a lot of moisture and replenishes fats.It is easy to spread and absorbs quickly.Tannosynt® Cream is very well tolerated and therefore also suitable for sensitive skin areas such as the face.It can be applied to larger areas of skin.The cream is ideal for the supportive treatment of skin diseases such as neurodermatitis, eczema, diaper rash, sunburn or insect bites.

Mode of action

Tannosynt® Cream contains the synthetic tanning agent Tamol, which is based on nature.Tamol has an astringent effect and strengthens the top layer of skin, strengthening the skin's natural protective barrier.This protective film covers the affected areas of skin and stops sore skin from oozing.This means that the skin reacts less sensitively to stimuli, the itching is relieved and germs cannot establish themselves.The sore skin can heal faster under the protective film.

Active ingredients and ingredients

100g Tannosynt® cream contains 1g phenol-methanol-urea polycondensate, sulfonated, sodium salt (synthetic tannin).Other ingredients with known effects include cetyl alcohol and propylene glycol.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient or one of the components or to the eye.There are no concerns about its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to the lack of absorption.

Dosage

Tannosynt® Cream is intended for external use only.To support the treatment of inflamed, weeping and itchy skin diseases, the cream should be applied thinly 1-2 times a day until it heals.Be careful not to let the cream come into contact with your eyes.Keep the product out of the reach of children.

Intake

The medicine may only be used externally.Apply the cream thinly to the affected skin areas once or twice a day until it heals.

Patient information

No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.There are no concerns about its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it is not absorbed into the body through the skin.

Notes

For lip licking and other facial eczema, the slightly moisturizing Tannosynt® Cream supplies the skin with oil and moisture, noticeably relieves itching and at the same time strengthens the skin barrier.The cream is suitable as a supportive treatment for neurodermatitis, which occurs in episodes and is usually accompanied by severe itching.If you have hemorrhoidal problems, external use of Tannosynt® cream can help alleviate the symptoms.
