Instructions for use for Pantoprazole STADA protect 20 mg gastro-resistant tablets, 7 pcs
Pantoprazole STADA® protect - For the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms
Pantoprazole STADA® protect 20 mg gastro-resistant tablets are intended for use in adults. The active ingredient pantoprazole is used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux.Reflux occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus and inflames it.This can cause a burning pain in the chest area and a sour taste in the mouth. No prescription is required for this product.Note: The preparation contains maltitol and deoiled phospholipids from soybeans.
Area of application
Heartburn is usually caused by an overproduction of stomach acid that rises into the esophagus.A malfunction of the sphincter between the esophagus and stomach promotes this problem. The result is burning pain behind the breastbone, which often occurs after eating or at night.Pantoprazole STADA® protect inhibits the formation of stomach acid for up to 24 hours, reduces the acid content in the stomach and promotes healing of the affected mucous membrane.
