Optovit fortissimum 500 is a vitamin preparation used to treat vitamin E deficiency states. It contains the active ingredient RRR-tocopherol (vitamin E) and is suitable for long-term use. Optovit fortissimum 500 can stimulate the immune system, reduce inflammatory processes and possibly reduce the risk of rheumatism, premature cell ageing and cataracts. It is recommended to take one capsule daily, unchewed, with sufficient liquid. A doctor should be consulted before taking the product, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side effects are rare but may occur. Optovit fortissimum 500 is well tolerated and of herbal origin. It contains sorbitol and soya oil. The preparation should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients. The exact dosage and duration of use should be discussed with the attending physician.
