Protagent SE eye drops are used for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye. The eye drops contain the active ingredient povidone and can also be used while wearing hard and soft contact lenses. The recommended dosage is up to 5 times daily, as needed. The application is carried out on the eye by dropping one drop into the conjunctival sac. The drops do not contain any preservatives and can therefore also be used by contact lens wearers without removing the lenses. Slight blurred vision may occur for a short time during use. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should ask their doctor or pharmacist for advice before using Protagent SE .
