Protagent SE eye drops, 80X0.5 ml

Area of application

Protagent SE eye drops are suitable for relieving dry eye symptoms.They soothe irritated and strained eyes, strengthen the tear film and moisturize the eyes.Typical signs include dryness, a foreign body sensation (similar to a grain of sand in the eye), burning, itching, redness and increased sensitivity.

Dry eyes can be caused by various factors, including environmental factors such as dry air or long periods of screen time, as well as internal factors such as illness, pregnancy, menopause or age.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The ingredients of Protagent SE eye drops include 10 mg of Povidone K25, boric acid, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the eye drops should not be used.

Dosage

The eye drops can be used up to five times a day, or more often if necessary.One drop is placed into the conjunctival sac.

Intake

The eye drops are intended for use on the eyes.

Patient information

If other eye drops are used, an interval of at least 15 minutes should be allowed before using Protagent SE eye drops.The product does not contain any preservatives and can therefore also be used by contact lens wearers without removing the lenses first.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or suspected of being pregnant, you should seek medical or pharmacy advice before use.

Notes

The product should not be used if the packaging is damaged.It should be protected from heat, sunlight and moisture and stored at a temperature below 25°C.The single-dose container should be used immediately after opening and then disposed of.Keep the product out of the reach of children and avoid the tip of the container coming into contact with the eye.
