Directions for use: Mastu Ointment is a medical product used to treat haemorrhoids. Haemorrhoids are nodular dilations of blood vessels at the anus. They can be caused by local infections, mechanical stress, pregnancy, weakness of the connective tissue or a sedentary lifestyle. Mastu Ointment relieves symptoms such as irritation, itching, burning and oozing and promotes wound healing. The ointment contains an ointment applicator for easier application. It should be applied 2-3 times a day in sufficient quantity in and/or around the anus. The skin should be cleansed before application. The ingredients of the ointment are basic bismuth gallate, isopropyl palmitate, thin paraffin, polyethylene wax, sorbitan sesquioleate, sorbitol solution, titanium dioxide, purified water and lanolin. Mastu Ointment is a pharmacy-exclusive medical product and is manufactured by Heilpflanzenwohl GmbH. It is important to note that Mastu Ointment should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
