Instructions for use for ARTHREX Pain gel, 50 g

Arthrex Schmerzgel is a gel containing the active ingredient diclofenac sodium. It is used for the external supportive symptomatic treatment of pain in acute strains, sprains or bruises in the extremities caused by blunt trauma such as sports injuries. The gel should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected area of the body and rubbed in gently. The maximum daily dose is 9 g of gel. The gel should not be applied to open wounds, skin inflammations or skin infections and should not get into the eyes or mucous membranes. It should not be used during the last trimester of pregnancy and in children under 14 years of age.
