Summary: Miconazol acis Zinc Paste is a fungicidal medicinal product for the external treatment of fungal diseases of the skin. It is used for the treatment of severe forms of napkin dermatitis where there is a proven colonisation with yeast fungi. The paste is applied at every nappy change and after every bath and should be used for at least one week after all symptoms have disappeared. Classical treatment methods and precautions should be followed when using it. The medicine is suitable for infants, children and adults. It contains the active ingredients miconazole nitrate and zinc oxide. There are no significant side effects other than possible skin irritation. The medicine should not be used for more than 7 days without medical advice. A doctor should be consulted before use during pregnancy and lactation.
