Instructions for use of product Cavilon Irritation-free Skin Protection FK 1ml Application 3343p: Cavilon Irritation Free Skin Protector is a fast drying, transparent and breathable skin protection film that provides reliable protection against irritation from body fluids, adhesives and friction for up to 72 hours. It can also be used on damaged skin and does not interfere with absorbent or draining incontinence aids. It also provides good protection against adhesives and does not interfere with the adhesive strength of ostomy products or wound dressings. The alcohol-free formulation does not burn damaged or sore skin and is sterile and non-cytotoxic, so it does not interfere with skin and wound healing. Cavilon Irritation-Free Skin Protection is available in various dosage forms, including 1 ml applicator, 3 ml applicator and 28 ml spray. It can be used as primary protection against liquids and irritants, as a protective barrier against adhesives, as skin protection around ostomy sites and as wound edge protection against exudate and maceration, among other uses. When used, Cavilon should be allowed to dry before covering the skin and no other skin protection products should be used at the same time as these may significantly reduce the effectiveness of Cavilon.
