Instructions for use of the article Tegaderm Foam FK 5x5 cm 90600 Product characteristics: - Foam dressing, non-adhesive - Breathable wound dressing for moderately to heavily exuding wounds - Highly absorbent foam with adhesive-free bond to barrier membrane - Wearing time of up to 7 days - High absorption capacity and comfortable to wear - Air and water vapour permeable - Dimensionally stable and pressure resistant - Safe barrier against liquids and germs Indications: - Ideal moist wound care for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. - Use as primary or secondary dressing for superficial or deep wounds Application: 1. place the Tegaderm Foam centred on the wound with the grid pattern facing upwards. The dressing should overlap the intact skin by about 2.5 cm. Secure the dressing with a frame dressing. 2. 2. the 10 x 60 cm Tegaderm Foam roll is well suited for covering gaiter ulcers. 3. The slit Tegaderm Foam with hole provides padding and rapid secretion absorption for tracheostomies and drains. Notes: - Fixation with frame bandage or circular bandages (for venous leg ulcers with compression bandages). - Dressing change is recommended when exudate is clearly visible at the dressing edge or the dressing becomes loose, but after 7 days at the latest.
