Instructions for use of the article Tegaderm Foam FK 8,8x8,8cm: - Tegaderm Foam dressing is 8.8 x 8.8cm and is slotted with a hole. - One pack contains 10 pieces. - The dressing has a high and fast absorption capacity. - It is soft, supple and comfortable. - The dressing is permeable to air and water vapour. - It is dimensionally stable and pressure resistant. - The dressing provides a secure barrier against liquids and germs. - Tegaderm Foam is a non-adhesive foam dressing. - The dressing is breathable, soft and conformable. - It can also be used as a special size for gaiter ulcers. - The foam dressing is suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. - It can be worn for up to 7 days. - Indications for use include leg ulcers, decubital ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, burns, split skin sites, lacerations and abrasions, neuropathic ulcers. - Recommended application instructions are: Overlap soft foam dressings over intact skin, observe for signs of infection, use as an absorbent secondary dressing over wound fillers, change dressing after 7 days or if there is significant exudate under the dressing edge or dressing solution. - The manufacturer of the dressing is Fresenius Kabi Deutschland GmbH and the status of the information is September 2014.
