The 3M Tegaderm Foam Adhesive is a high-performance, adhesive foam dressing with a multi-layer construction.This design ensures excellent fluid management, allowing for a long period of wear.The dressing balances changing amounts of exudate and thus maintains the moisture balance for an optimal wound environment.

The dressing can be used as a primary or secondary dressing for weakly to heavily exuding, deep and superficial wounds.The spoke application system allows for easy, one-handed application and removal, even on difficult body contours such as heels and elbows, without having to cut the bandage.

The innovative layer structure absorbs moisture and allows it to evaporate, ensuring an ideal, moist wound environment.The dressing is available in a variety of sizes and shapes, including oval and fenestrated.

A self-adhesive film layer serves as a protective barrier against external contaminants, including bacteria and viruses.In vitro testing shows that the transparent film provides protection against viruses with a diameter of 27 nm or larger as long as the dressing remains intact and tight.
