The 3M Tegaderm Foam Adhesive is a high-performance, adhesive foam dressing with a multi-layer construction.This design enables excellent fluid management and ensures a long wearing time.The dressing is suitable as both a primary and secondary dressing for weakly to heavily exuding, deep and superficial wounds.

The foam bandage's spoke application system facilitates one-handed application and removal, even on difficult body contours such as heels and elbows.The bandage does not need to be cut and adapts flexibly.The innovative layer structure absorbs moisture and allows it to evaporate, ensuring an ideal, moist wound environment.

The dressing is available in a variety of sizes and shapes, including oval and fenestrated.A self-adhesive film layer serves as a protective barrier against external contaminants, including bacteria and viruses.In vitro testing shows that the transparent film provides protection against viruses with a diameter of 27 nm or larger as long as the dressing remains intact and tight.

The bandage is waterproof and can therefore also be worn when showering.It is soft and conformable, which increases patient satisfaction.The thin, flat adhesive edge holds the dressing securely in place and minimizes edge curling and peeling.
