The 3M Tegaderm Foam Adhesive is a high-performance, adhesive foam dressing suitable for the treatment of weakly to heavily exuding, deep and superficial wounds.The dressing can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing.

The multi-layered structure of the foam bandage ensures excellent fluid management, which enables it to be worn for a long time.The spoke application system allows for easy, one-handed application and removal, even on difficult body contours such as heels and elbows, without the need to trim the bandage.

The innovative layer structure absorbs moisture and allows it to evaporate, ensuring an ideal, moist wound environment.The dressing balances changing amounts of exudate and thus maintains the moisture balance for an optimal wound environment.A self-adhesive film layer serves as a protective barrier against external contaminants, including bacteria and viruses.In vitro testing shows that the transparent film provides protection against viruses with a diameter of 27 nm or larger as long as the dressing remains intact and tight.
