Instructions for use for SEPSO J Solution, 10 ml

SEPSO J is a solution containing the active ingredient povidone-iodine and is used to disinfect the external skin, oral mucosa, vagina, cervix and urethra. It can also be used as an antiseptic for hand disinfection, bladder catheterisation and for damaged skin such as pressure ulcers, lower leg ulcers, superficial wounds and burns. The medicine should always be used exactly as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. There are certain contraindications and precautions that must be observed, for example SEPSO J must not be used if you are allergic to iodine or any of the other ingredients of the medicine. Side effects such as skin irritation, allergic reactions or anaphylactic reactions are rare but may occur. The medicinal product should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be stored above 25°C. The shelf life after opening is 1 year.
