Instructions for use of the article "Valerian ratiopharm coated tablets". Valerian ratiopharm coated tablets are a herbal medicinal product for calming, mild nervous tension and sleep disorders. The tablets contain dry extract of valerian root. The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is one coated tablet up to 3 times a day for calming and one coated tablet half an hour to an hour before bedtime for mild nervous tension and insomnia. If necessary, an additional tablet can be taken earlier in the evening. Patients with liver or kidney dysfunction should follow the dosage recommendations. The tablets are taken unchewed with sufficient liquid. The duration of use is not limited. For optimal treatment success, continuous use over 2-4 weeks is recommended. If the symptoms do not improve or even worsen after two weeks of use, a doctor should be consulted. The tablets contain sucrose and glucose. Driving ability and the ability to operate machinery may be impaired, especially in combination with alcohol.
