Instructions for use for DOPPEL SPALT Compact tablets, 20 pcs

- Doppel Spalt Compact tablets contain the active ingredients acetylsalicylic acid (500 mg) and caffeine (50 mg). - Other ingredients are maize starch and microcrystalline cellulose. Indication: - Double Cleft Compact is used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, including headache, toothache and period pain. Dosage and directions for use: - Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should take 1 tablet (equivalent to 500 mg acetylsalicylic acid and 50 mg caffeine) every 4-8 hours, up to 3 times daily. - The tablets should be taken with plenty of liquid, but not on an empty stomach. - Long-term use without medical advice should not exceed 4 days. Contraindications: - The medicine should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, ulcers in the digestive tract, increased bleeding tendency as well as in children under 12 years and pregnant women. Side effects: - Possible side effects may include gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach pain. - Allergic reactions, accelerated pulse, insomnia and restlessness may also occur. - If any adverse effects occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. Important information: - The medicine should not be used for longer or in higher doses than prescribed in the package leaflet. - Prolonged use of painkillers may result in headaches caused by the medicine. - Habitual use of painkillers may cause permanent kidney damage. - Before surgery or dental treatment, use of the medicine should be indicated as it may prolong bleeding time. - In case of certain contraindications or interactions with other medicines, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before use. - During long-term treatment, alcohol consumption should be avoided as this may increase the risk of side effects. - The medicinal product should be stored away from heat.
