Vein Complex Ho-Fu-Complex Drops is a natural remedy used for venous circulatory disorders, venous diseases and haemorrhoids. It contains the active ingredients Aesculus, Arnica, Calcium fluoratum, Hamamelis and Pulsatilla. The drops also help to prevent swelling of the legs during long flights and car journeys. The dosage depends on the acuteness of the symptoms. In acute conditions, 5 drops should be taken every half to a full hour, and in chronic conditions, 5 drops should be taken 1-3 times a day. When the symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced. There are no known interactions and side effects are rare but may include bloating and nausea. Pregnant women and children under 12 years of age should not use the medicine. If sudden pain or swelling of the legs occurs, medical advice should be sought immediately.
