Wick Daymed Kombi cold drink is a medicine for relieving cold and flu symptoms. It contains three active ingredients: paracetamol to relieve pain and reduce fever, guaifenesin as an expectorant and phenylephrine hydrochloride to decongest the nose. The medicine is dissolved as a powder in water and taken as a hot drink. It should only be taken when there is pain, fever, runny nose and productive cough. The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years is one sachet every 4-6 hours, but not more than 4 sachets in 24 hours. The medicine should not be taken with alcoholic drinks. Long-term use is not recommended. If symptoms do not improve after 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. Wick Daymed Kombi cold drink should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and in case of certain diseases such as liver failure, impaired kidney function, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism and diabetes mellitus. Side effects such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and kidney inflammation may occur. The medicine should be stored out of the reach of children and at room temperature.
