Instructions for use of the article NU Gel Hydrogel Mng425 NU-GEL Hydrogel is a hydroactive, amorphous and transparent gel. It contains sodium alginate which gently and effectively dissolves and removes fibrinous coatings and necrotic tissue. Mode of action: - Creates a moist wound healing environment and promotes natural autolytic debridement. - The alginate component supports the absorption capacity. - Can also be used to hydrate and soften scabs. Easy application: - The hydrogel is easy to apply to the wound with one hand. - The bellows bottle minimises product loss. Long residence time on the wound: - One study shows that NU-GEL hydrogel stays on the wound on average 2.78 days longer than IntraSite1. Indications: - NU-GEL Hydrogel helps create a moist wound healing environment. - Suitable for debridement, removal of scabs and management of chronic wounds at all stages of the wound healing process.
