Instructions for use of the article Askina Transorbent 20X20 cm Schaumst.Wundauflage: Askina Transorbent is a foam wound dressing with a hydrogel layer used for moderate exudation. It remains in the wound after fluid absorption, which prevents residue formation. Due to its optimal exudate management, it enables a long wearing time and creates an ideally moist wound environment. The dressing is dimensionally stable and flexible, even after fluid absorption. It has a very good retention capacity, which reduces the risk of skin maceration. Thanks to its soft and adaptable texture, it offers good support and enables atraumatic dressing changes. Askina Transorbent is used for the treatment of pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, split skin removal sites and traumatic wounds. It is prescribable and reimbursable as a dressing.
