Description

This preparation is a mineral preparation that contains the active ingredient histidine hemizinc 2H₂O.It is used to treat clinically confirmed zinc deficiencies if these cannot be remedied by changing your diet.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The medicine contains 94 mg histidine zinc 2-water and 15 mg zinc ion.The following excipients are also included: iron (III) hydroxide oxide, gelatin, indigo carmine, magnesium stearate (vegetable), corn starch, sodium dodecyl sulfate, titanium dioxide and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to histidine hemizinc 2H₂O or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.The recommended dose for adults, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, is 1 hard capsule once a day, which corresponds to 15 mg zinc.

If you take more than you should, you may experience symptoms such as a metallic taste on the tongue, headache, diarrhea or vomiting, but these will go away quickly after you stop taking the medicine.

If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose.Continue treatment at the dosage as provided in the dosage recommendation.

Do not change the dose listed here on your own.If you are taking this medicine on the advice of a doctor, please consult your doctor before stopping treatment.

Intake

The medicine is for oral use only.Take the hard capsule approximately 1 hour before a meal.If you have problems taking the hard capsule, you can also stir its contents into a liquid (e.g. water, fruit juice).
