Notes

Suprasorb P can be used as a secondary dressing for wounds at risk of infection as part of regular antimicrobial therapy.When dry, Suprasorb P can be easily tailored to the individual wound size.The dressing should overlap the wound edges by approximately 2 cm.

Application instructions

To use Suprasorb P non-adhesive, you should first clean the wound with a sterile solution and pat the area around the wound dry.Then place the bandage on the wound so that it overlaps the edge of the wound by about 2-3 cm and fix it with a suitable fixation material such as a film wound dressing, a fixation bandage or a compression bandage.

Dressing change interval

The dressing change interval is determined by the attending physician depending on the condition of the wound and the degree of exudation, but no later than after 5-7 days.As soon as the discoloration reaches the edge of the wound, the dressing should be changed.

Areas of application

Suprasorb P is suitable for moderately exuding wounds, superficial wounds and non-infected wounds in all phases of wound healing.These include pressure ulcers and other ulcers, second-degree burns, split-thickness skin donor sites, and postoperative wounds.
