Information for use of the article Omeprazol Heumann 20 mg for heartburn: - Indications: For the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux. - Warning: This medicinal product contains sucrose. - Active substance: omeprazole. - Other ingredients: Sugar-starch pellets, sodium dodecyl sulphate, sodium monohydrogen phosphate, mannitol, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, talc, polysorbate 80, titanium dioxide, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, gelatin, quinoline yellow. - The medicine reduces the amount of stomach acid your stomach produces to treat reflux symptoms. - The recommended dose is one 20 mg hard capsule once daily for 14 days. - Take the hard capsules whole with half a glass of water, without chewing or crushing them. - Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and do not store it above 25 °C. - Gastrointestinal complaints, taste disorders and other side effects may occur. - Avoid excessive UV-radiation and watch out for possible interactions with other medicines. - The dosage may deviate from the information in the package leaflet and is adjusted individually by the doctor. - Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions about taking and storing the medicine.
