Instructions for use of the article Hydrocoll Thin wound dressing 10x10 cm: Hydrocoll Thin wound dressing is a fast absorbing hydrocolloid dressing used for moist wound treatment. It is thin and has a lower absorbent capacity, which makes it particularly suitable for the epithelialisation phase. The dressing is self-adhesive and has a semi-permeable, germ-tight top layer. The gel conversion of the hydrocolloid dressing components creates a moist wound environment that promotes granulation and epithelialisation. The dressing can be removed without wound irritation and is available in different versions. The Hydrocoll Thin dressing is used for the treatment of low to moderate exuding wounds that are clinically uninfected. It is particularly suitable for wounds with poor healing tendency and protracted granulation build-up, such as leg ulcers or decubitus ulcers. For decubital ulcerations in the sacral region, the Hydrocoll Sacral dressing is used, while the Hydrocoll Concave dressing is used on the heel or elbow. The pack contains 10 pieces.
