Thrombophob 60000 cream is a medicinal product with the active substance heparin sodium. It is used for the supportive treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries (bruises/bloody effusions) and superficial phlebitis, if this cannot be treated by compression. The medicine inhibits blood clotting and promotes the breakdown of blood clots. It also helps to get rid of swelling, bruising and inflammation. Thrombophob 60000 cream should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected areas of the skin. The duration of application should be discussed with the doctor. Possible side effects may include allergic reactions of the skin. The medicinal product must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to heparin sodium or any of the other ingredients, or on open wounds. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The medicinal product should be kept out of the reach of children.
