Pinimenthol Cold Ointment contains eucalyptus oil, pine needle oil and levomenthol and is used for external application and inhalation for colds of the respiratory tract. It improves the condition of symptoms such as cold, hoarseness and cough. The ointment is applied to the chest and back 2-4 times a day or lightly massaged in. For inhalation, place a strand of ointment in a suitable container of hot water and inhale the vapours. Children under 12 years of age should not use the medicine. Use should be avoided in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, bronchial asthma, pneumonia and damaged skin. Possible side effects may include skin rash, reddening of the skin, itching, irritation of the mucous membranes and irritation of the cough.
