Pinimenthol cold ointment is a herbal medicinal product for external use and inhalation for colds of the respiratory tract. It contains eucalyptus oil, pine needle oil and levomenthol as active ingredients. It is used to improve the symptoms of colds such as colds, hoarseness and coughs. The medicinal product must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in children under 12 years of age, in cases of bronchial asthma, whooping cough and other respiratory diseases and on damaged skin. Side effects may include skin irritation, hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, mucous membrane irritation, cough irritation and bronchospasm. Dosage and instructions for use vary according to age group and type of application. In case of prolonged or regularly recurring complaints, a doctor should be consulted. Interactions with other medicines are possible. The medicinal product should be kept out of reach of children and should not be stored above 30 °C. The pack sizes are 20 g, 50 g and 100 g.
