Directions for use of the article Duraultra N sine 1 mg/ml eye drops: Duraultra N sine 1 mg/ml eye drops are a medicinal product for topical use in the eye. The active substance naphazoline hydrochloride has vasoconstrictive properties and causes constriction of the blood vessels in the conjunctiva. The eye drops are used to treat non-infectious and allergic conjunctivitis as well as concomitant inflammation of the conjunctiva in general allergic conditions such as hay fever. They are also suitable for further treatment after antibacterial therapy of the anterior segment of the eye or after ophthalmological procedures such as foreign body removal. The recommended dose for adults and schoolchildren is 1 drop 2 times a day until the symptoms have subsided; if necessary, the dose can be increased to 1 drop 4 times a day. The eye drops should only be used for a short time, not longer than 7 days. Children under 2 years of age must not use the medicine. Duraultra N sine 1 mg/ml eye drops contain 1 mg naphazoline hydrochloride per 1 ml solution as the active substance. Other ingredients are polyvinyl alcohol, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment and water for injection. The medicinal product should be stored at room temperature (not above 25 °C) and protected from light.
