Directions for use Duraultra N sine 1 mg/ml eye drops: Duraultra N sine 1 mg/ml eye drops contain the active substance naphazoline hydrochloride. They are recommended for topical use in adults and children aged 2 years and over. The eye drops are used for non-infectious and allergic conjunctivitis and concomitant inflammation of the conjunctiva. They can also be used for general allergic conditions such as hay fever and irritations of the conjunctiva and eyelids without bacterial findings. The eye drops are continued after antibacterial therapy of the anterior segment of the eye or after ophthalmological measures such as removal of foreign bodies. The recommended dosage for adults and school children is 1 drop 2 times daily. If necessary, the dosage can be increased to 1 drop 4 times daily. The duration of use should not exceed 7 days. The medicine should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, cardiovascular diseases, phaeochromocytoma, narrow-angle glaucoma, rhinitis sicca, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Possible side effects are irritation of the eye, visual disturbances, high blood pressure and pulse acceleration. The medicine should be protected from heat and stored in the dark.
