Summary: Plissamur is a herbal medicinal product for the treatment of diseases of the leg veins (chronic venous insufficiency). It relieves symptoms such as swollen legs, varicose veins, pain, heaviness, itching and cramps in the calves. The recommended dosage for adults is one coated tablet in the morning and one in the evening. The medicine should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid before meals. Treatment may last up to 4 weeks and long-term treatment is possible. In case of overdose, nausea, stomach discomfort, vomiting and diarrhoea may occur. If a dose is forgotten, do not take a double dose. The medicine should be stored away from heat. The package leaflet should be read and a doctor or pharmacist consulted if there are any questions. The medicine must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to the active substance or other ingredients. Side effects may include gastrointestinal complaints and allergic skin reactions. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before taking the medicine.
