Area of application

Godamed 100mg ASS TAH is used as part of standard therapy to treat acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) and to prevent another myocardial infarction.It is also used in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris.Furthermore, its use is indicated for the prevention of cerebral infarction and transient ischemic attacks (TIA) after preliminary stages as well as after arterial vascular surgery or interventional procedures.

Mode of action

Acetylsalicylic acid acts as an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase.Godamed 100mg ASS TAH irreversibly inhibits platelet aggregation, improves the flow properties of the blood and thus helps to prevent vascular occlusions.

1 Tablet of Godamed 100mg ASS TAH contains 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid as an active ingredient.Other ingredients include glycine, natural and nature-identical flavorings, sodium saccharin, corn starch and cellulose powder.

Contraindications

Godamed 100mg ASS TAH should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, acute stomach and intestinal ulcers, pathologically increased bleeding tendency, liver and kidney failure, severe, uncontrolled heart muscle weakness, allergic reactions and asthma attacks when taking salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and in combination with methotrexate 15 mg or more per week.

Particular caution and medical supervision are required in the event of hypersensitivity to other anti-inflammatory/anti-rheumatic drugs or allergenic substances, existing allergies, asthma, hay fever, swollen nasal mucosa, chronic respiratory diseases, simultaneous therapy with anticoagulants, stomach or intestinal ulcers or stomach or intestinal bleeding in the past, oxalate urolithiasis, iron storage diseases, impaired liver and kidney function, patients with cerebral hemorrhages, patients with goutas well as before operations.

The use of Godamed 100mg ASS TAH is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding as well as in children under 12 years of age and in children and adolescents with febrile symptoms of the disease.

Dosage

Godamed 100mg ASS TAH should be taken exactly as directed by a doctor.A daily dose of 1 tablet is recommended for unstable angina pectoris and to prevent temporary cerebral insufficiency (TIA) and cerebral infarctions.In the case of an acute heart attack, 1 tablet daily is also recommended, and the first tablet should be bitten.To prevent another heart attack, 3 tablets daily are recommended.After surgery or other procedures on arterial blood vessels, 1 tablet daily is recommended.

The tablets should be taken whole, if possible, with plenty of liquid after a meal.Do not take on an empty stomach!Godamed 100mg ASS TAH is intended for long-term use as directed by a doctor.

Intake

The tablets should be taken after meals with plenty of liquid.To treat an acute heart attack, the first tablet should be bitten or chewed.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.Acetylsalicylic acid should not be taken in the first 6 months of pregnancy.It is not allowed to be taken in the last 3 months as it can prolong the pregnancy and inhibit labor.An increased tendency to bleed can be observed in mother and child.Taking ASS shortly before birth can cause cerebral hemorrhage, especially in premature babies.

Acetylsalicylic acid passes into breast milk in small amounts.With short-term use of the recommended dose, interruption of breastfeeding is usually not necessary.If you use it for a long time or take larger quantities, you should stop breastfeeding.

Notes

Godamed 100mg ASS TAH is not used to treat pain.Do not take the tablets on an empty stomach.No prescription is required for this product.
