Directions for use of the article Tannolact fat cream: Tannolact Fat Cream is used for skin conditions associated with inflammation or itching, such as eczema or skin conditions in intertriginous areas. It contains the active ingredient phenolsulfonic acid phenol-urea formaldehyde condensate, sodium salt, which acts as a synthetic tanning agent and accelerates the healing process of diseased tissue. The cream is applied thinly to the diseased skin areas and massaged in gently, but not on the face to avoid contact with the eyes. The application can be continued until the inflammatory skin symptoms have subsided. When used according to the package leaflet, no overdose symptoms are known. The medicinal product must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients. During pregnancy and breast-feeding, the medicinal product may be used if deemed necessary by the attending physician. However, care should be taken that the medicine does not get into the eyes. If you have any questions about its use, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist. The cream should be kept out of reach of children and once the tube has been opened it will keep for 6 months. No special storage conditions are required. The medicinal product may contain parabens and emulsifiers which may cause hypersensitivity reactions. The cream must not be used on the eye and there is no experience of tolerability in children under 18 years of age.
