Summary: Vidisept EDO eye drops are used for the symptomatic treatment of dehydration of the cornea and conjunctiva (dry eye). They are also suitable for wetting and rewetting soft and hard contact lenses during wear. The medication contains the active ingredient povidone and is particularly suitable for patients who cannot tolerate preserved tear substitutes. The recommended dosage is 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3 to 5 times daily or more often, as needed. The one-dose ophtiole should be reused for each application. The remaining amount in the ophtiole after use should be discarded. The medicine should be stored out of reach of children and at temperatures below 25 °C.
