Summary: Vidisept EDO eye drops are a tear substitute used to treat drying of the cornea and conjunctiva (dry eye). It can also be used for wetting and rewetting soft and hard contact lenses during wear. The drops contain the active ingredient povidone and are particularly suitable for patients who cannot tolerate preserved tear substitutes. The recommended dosage is 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3 to 5 times daily or more often. Application to the eye is with a single-dose ophtiole. Storage should be at room temperature and the medicine should not be used after the expiry date. Read the package leaflet before use and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. Avoid activities such as operating machinery or driving during the short-term streaking after application.
