Instructions for use for CALCIMAGON D3 chewable tablets, 30 pcs

Calcimagon D3 chewable tablets are used to support specific therapy and to prevent and treat osteoporosis. They are also used to prevent and treat vitamin D and calcium deficiency in older people. The medicine contains calcium carbonate and vitamin D3. It is recommended to take one chewable tablet twice a day, either chewed or sucked. The medicine should not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to the active ingredients, if the calcium level in the blood or urine is too high, if kidney stones are present or if there is an overdose of vitamin D. Possible side effects may include an increase in blood or urine calcium levels, constipation, bloating, nausea, hives, itching, skin rash and a shift in the acid-base balance in the blood. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking it. Large amounts should not be taken and overdose should be avoided. For more information, see the package leaflet.
