Contraindications

The chewable tablets must not be taken if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, colecalciferol or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.The tablets should also not be taken if there is an increased calcium content in the blood, increased calcium excretion in the urine, certain conditions that can lead to hypercalcemia and/or hypercalcuria, kidney stones, calcium deposits in the kidneys, kidney failure, vitamin D overdose, immobilization of limbs or certain lung diseases such as sarcoidosis or Boeck's disease.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.Adults usually take 1 chewable tablet 1 to 2 times daily.A serum calcium check should be carried out every 3 - 6 months.During long-term treatment, urinary calcium excretion must be monitored and the dosage reduced or temporarily suspended depending on the results.The chewable tablets are not suitable for use in children and adolescents.
