Active ingredients and ingredients

Each effervescent tablet contains 2500 mg calcium carbonate, 1000 mg calcium ion, 1500 mg carbonate ion and 0.022 mg colecalciferol, which corresponds to 880 IU colecalciferol.In addition, the preparation contains various excipients such as alpha-tocopherol, citric acid, gelatin, sodium ion, lactose, macrogol 6000, corn starch, sodium cyclamate, sodium bicarbonate, povidone K25, saccharin sodium salt, sucrose, silicon dioxide, simeticone emulsion, dimeticone, methylcellulose, highly disperse silicon dioxide, hardenedSoybean oil, orange juice flavor and other ingredients.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, colecalciferol or any of the other ingredients.The preparation should also not be used if you have calcium-containing kidney stones, calcification of the kidneys (nephrocalcinosis), increased calcium excretion in the urine (hypercalciuria) or high calcium concentrations in the blood.An increased calcium concentration in the blood can occur in various diseases such as hyperactive parathyroid gland, vitamin D overdose, certain tumors or lung diseases.

Dosage

The recommended dose is one effervescent tablet daily, which contains 1000 mg calcium and 880 IU vitamin D.Always take the medicine exactly as described in the instructions for use or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.No prescription is required for this product.

Intake

The effervescent tablet is dissolved in a glass of water (approx. 200 ml) and then taken immediately.

Patient information

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine, especially if you have impaired kidney function or a low phosphate concentration in your blood.Drinking plenty of fluids can reduce the tendency to form kidney stones.Since the preparation already contains vitamin D, additional use of vitamin D or calcium should only be carried out under medical supervision.During therapy with high doses of calcium, serum calcium levels and renal function should be monitored.
