Amorolfin STADA® 5% active nail polish is a proven remedy for the external treatment of nail fungus.The nail polish contains the active ingredient amorolfine, which is effective against known nail fungal pathogens.The pack contains 30 swabs, 30 files and 10 spatulas for an optimal treatment process.

According to estimates, one in ten people in Germany suffers from fungal nail disease.The risk of infection lurks wherever people spend a lot of time walking barefoot.The spores of the fungi that cause infection can be extremely stubborn on the floors of swimming pools and sports halls.But the pathogen can also survive in shoes, towels and socks for several weeks.Amorolfine STADA® is applied as nail polish.The active ingredient contained is effective against the known fungal nail pathogens.

Mode of action

Amorolfin STADA® 5% nail polish containing active ingredients is highly effective against the known nail fungal pathogens.The active ingredient penetrates deep into the nail plate and therefore also fights fungi that are difficult to reach.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is amorolfine.1 ml of nail polish containing active ingredients contains 50 mg amorolfine corresponding to 55.74 mg amorolfine hydrochloride.The other ingredients are ammonium methacrylate copolymer (type A), triacetin, butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, ethanol.

Application

Amorolfine STADA® only needs to be applied once or twice a week.For optimal treatment, the affected area of the nail, including the nail surface, should first be filed using the included nail file.The nail surface is then cleaned with the alcohol swab provided.Then the nail polish can be applied with the reusable spatula.The polish dries about 3 minutes after application and is no longer affected by soap and water.Treated hands and feet can therefore be washed as usual.Application of the nail polish should be continued without interruption until the infection has cleared and the healthy nail has grown back.This usually takes 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails.

Can you use other nail products during treatment with Amorolfine STADA®?Cosmetic nail polish or artificial nails should not be used during treatment with Amorolfine STADA®.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.
