Directions for use of the article Cetirizine Aristo bei Allergien 10 mg Filmtabletten: Cetirizine Aristo is an anti-allergy medicine and is used to treat symptoms of allergic diseases such as chronic hives (urticaria) with itching, wheals and redness of the skin, chronic allergic rhinitis, Itching in chronic hives and atopic dermatitis with redness of the skin, hay fever with sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching, nasal congestion, redness and itching of the eyes and lacrimation, and to suppress asthma-like conditions caused by allergies. Cetirizine Aristo should always be taken in consultation with a doctor or pharmacist. For adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults, the recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet daily, preferably in the evening. If necessary, the dose may be increased to 2 film-coated tablets daily in adults for the supportive treatment of asthmoid conditions. Children aged 6-12 years receive either 1/2 or 1 film-coated tablet daily in the evening, depending on body weight. In renal insufficiency, the recommended dose should be halved. In the case of hepatic insufficiency and concomitant renal insufficiency, the dosage must be adjusted individually. Cetirizine Aristo Film-Coated Tablets should be taken unchewed with liquid, preferably in the evening. The duration of treatment depends on the type and course of the symptoms and is determined by the doctor. The use of Cetirizine Aristo can cause side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness, tiredness and dry mouth. In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions of the skin may also occur. Cetirizine Aristo contains the active substance cetirizine dihydrochloride in a dosage of 10 mg per film-coated tablet. Other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 4000 and titanium dioxide. It is gluten-free but contains lactose. The medicinal product should be kept out of reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. No special storage conditions are required.
