Directions for use of the article Cetirizine Aristo for allergies 10 mg Film-coated tablets. Cetirizine Aristo is an anti-allergy medicine used to treat the symptoms of allergic diseases. It can be used for the following symptoms: chronic hives (urticaria) with symptoms such as itching, wheals and redness of the skin; chronic allergic rhinitis; itching in chronic hives (urticaria) and atopic dermatitis (neurodermatitis) with redness of the skin; hay fever with symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching, nasal congestion, redness or itching of the eyes and tearing. Itching of the eyes and lacrimation; asthmoid conditions of allergic origin as a supportive measure to suppress corresponding symptoms. The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet (10 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride) per day for adolescents aged 12 and over and adults. For children aged 6-12 years, the dosage is based on body weight. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with liquid, preferably in the evening. The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and course of the symptoms and is determined by the doctor. Cetirizine Aristo must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, a tendency to seizures, impaired kidney function and in babies and small children under 2 years of age. The medicinal product should not be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Possible side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness, fatigue, insomnia, pharyngitis, dry mouth, rhinitis, insensitivity, hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, malaise and general weakness. The medicine should be stored away from heat. It contains the active substance cetirizine dihydrochloride and other ingredients such as lactose.
