Instructions for use for BENZAKNEN Wash 5% suspension, 2X100 g

Benzaknen Wash 5% is an acne remedy for application to the skin. It is used for all forms of mild acne and as a supportive therapy for moderate to severe acne. The preparation contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide and is used in adolescents from 12 years of age and adults. The affected skin areas are treated with Benzaknen Wash once a day; if necessary, it can also be applied twice a day. After application, the wash is washed off immediately and the skin is dried. Additional cleansing of the skin areas is not necessary. The application period is usually 4-12 weeks. Benzaknen Wash should be stored in a cool place and out of the reach of children. The package leaflet should be read before use. Local irritation may occur at the site of application, such as drying of the skin, scaling, burning, itching and redness of the skin. The product should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity or dry skin with a tendency to allergies. Pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. Exposure to excessive UV-radiation should be avoided as the skin is more sensitive during use. The product should be stored away from heat and used for a maximum of 6 months after opening.
