Directions for use of the medicine Naratriptan ratiopharm for migraine: Naratriptan-ratiopharm is a medicine used to treat migraine headaches. It contains the active substance naratriptan and is used for the acute treatment of migraine attacks with and without aura. It is important to read the leaflet and follow the doctor's or pharmacist's instructions carefully. Before taking Naratriptan-ratiopharm, certain points should be observed. It should be used at the first onset of migraine headaches. It should not be used to prevent migraines. It should not be taken if you are under 18 or over 65 years of age, are allergic to naratriptan hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of the medicine, have had a heart attack or have signs of reduced blood flow to the heart, suffer from spasm of the coronary arteries or peripheral vascular disease, has had a stroke or transient circulatory problems in the brain, has high blood pressure or kidney or liver dysfunction, has circulatory problems in the legs, has been diagnosed with one of the rare forms of migraine or is using other medicines containing ergotamine, triptans or 5HT1 receptor agonists at the same time. There are certain warnings and precautions to be observed. A doctor should be consulted if the headache lasts longer than 24 hours or occurs more frequently, if four or more migraine attacks occur per month, if one does not fully recover between attacks, if one is over 50 years of age and is experiencing this type of headache for the first time, or if the migraine attack intensifies or the associated symptoms change.
