Information for use of the article ASS Dexcel Protect 75 mg Gastro-resistant tablets: - The medicinal product contains the active substance acetylsalicylic acid. - It is used for the symptomatic treatment of unstable angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, reinfarction prophylaxis, prevention of TIA and cerebral infarctions. - It inhibits the adhesion and clumping of platelets and prevents the formation of blood clots. - The recommended dosage varies depending on the area of application and is 1-4 tablets per day. - The tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient water. - The medicine must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, gastrointestinal ulcers, increased bleeding tendency and other diseases. - Possible side effects are gastrointestinal complaints, skin reactions and other hypersensitivity reactions. - The medicine should be stored away from heat. - For further information, please refer to the package leaflet.
