ASS AL 100 TAH tablets are used to treat and prevent certain cardiovascular diseases. The active substance acetylsalicylic acid has a blood-thinning effect and inhibits the clumping of blood platelets. Indications for use include unstable angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, prevention of further myocardial infarction, condition following arterial vascular surgery and temporary deficiency of blood flow in the brain. The medicine should be taken unchewed with liquid, except in cases of acute myocardial infarction where the tablet may be chewed.
