SILYMARCUR is a medicinal product in coated tablet form with the active substance Silybum marianum (milk thistle fruit dry extract). It is used for the supportive treatment of chronic inflammatory liver diseases, liver cirrhosis and liver damage caused by liver toxins. The medicinal product is not suitable for the treatment of acute poisoning. The dosage for adolescents from 12 years and adults is 1-2 tablets twice daily after meals. The total dose should not be exceeded. The medicine should be taken with liquid. The duration of use depends on the symptoms and the course of the disease. In case of overdose, gastrointestinal complaints may occur. If an overdose is suspected, a doctor should be consulted. The medicinal product must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicinal product.
